  • Links are the most fundamental part of the world wide web.
  • It is the links that tie it all together.
  • The Internet is not required for linking two HTML pages.
  • There are three different kinds of links you can have on your website:

  1. Links to anchors on the current page (Internal links).
  2. Links to other pages within the current site (Local links)
  3. Links to pages outside the current site (Global links).

It is possible to make texts and images work as links.
